Bishop Gadsden has many fine facilities, but one of the most fun is the Pub.  Mom and her friends gather every night before dinner.  It's a wonderful room with a fireplace and beautiful furnishings including a lovely bar.  But, my Mom (and many of her friends) are a bit on the shortish side and getting into one of the bar chairs was tricky even before the first drink.

So Mom donated this beautiful brass foot rail in memory of my Dad.  No one on the earth enjoyed a cocktail like Daddy and it tickles all of us to see this fine rail and think of him.

If you look carefully, you can see my Mom, happily perched at her favorite stool.  Phillip and Jon tend the bar and it is always a wonderful place to go.
